While doing a bit of game shopping today...i happend to stumble across this ..Not sure of the contents yet, hope that release dates stays as it is..(well, wouldn't mind it coming forward..but that like NEVER happens with games)
Also...I'v started to add game release dates to the forum calendar (yeah bet you didn't know we had one huh ? Hit calendar next to members button just under the logo ^^)
I tell so many this: Unless it's being quoted from an official statement from NCsoft, it's a lie of a date so that they can take reservations. Around that time would be great, but it isn't even out of the CBT. First line pissed me off too! "A massively multiplayer online game featuring antagonistic relationships between angels, demons and a server-controlled NPC faction, The Dragons."
Lets count the inaccuracies, shall we? 1. Angels. - Correct name: Elyos, not angels in any way, shape, or fucking form. The only people that call them "angels" are the retard 15 year olds that see a pretty looking screenshot and immediately join them. Angels = Good, Elyos = something we don't know yet. It has been stated by NC, and reinforced, that there is more to just Good vs Bad. Aion isn't NEARLY that cookiecutter. For all we know, the Elyos are really more the cut-throat side (think militia vs freedom fighters, V for Vendetta-esque) 2. Demons - Asmodians, whom dwell in the beautiful lands of Asmodae. Once again, not cookiecutter Demons. Asmodians have darker features, as do much of Asmodae, due to getting less than 40% of the sunlight. They have wings that resemble those of Bats (from what anyone has seen anyway). 3. The Dragons. Balaur, yes, they are draconic and do in fact drop draconic things, but they aren't just blandly called "The Dragons". Their main role (outside of storyline) is to make sure things are balanced.
I still haven't gotten my PS3 in the mail and this thread hath felt my wrath. Remember: Dropkick people that refer to it as: Good vs Bad Angels vs Demons game that's release date is x (referring to people that have even a shred of belief in a site about the release date.)
I'll give a bounty to those that do.
On a good note: I will definitely be buying the CE of it. NCsoft is a nice company, I can see there being more than just some "digital artbook" and a pin.
It got its own thread anyway, Multiple sites have started listing this date, and the producer said in an interview roughly this time anyway, i'd say its a good estimate, which is better than nothing.
