really, it's my first computer and couldn't be happier. Oh and the price tag (for everything) was around $1,000. Not too bad if you ask me. Now working off the money I spent is another story. Runs Hellgate wonderfully, FEAR flawlessly, and Half-Life 2 excellently.

Not really a problem,
Cos nothing needs a fan inside anymore I can use all the case fans to make the case negative pressure so dust doesnt get sucked in because all the fans blow outwards )
I got my new cpu up to 4.5ghz too but backed off to 4 until i've got an upgrade on the horizon :OP
Pretty much everything from www.frys.com/ I went out to the one by me & spent around 800. The hard drive was on sale so it saved a little bit. I use a cheapy Logitech mouse and a cheapy Emprex keyboard. They work perfectly fine.
The monitor, I got from Circuit City for around 200.
My budget was $800 (not including monitor price), so I hit perfectly for what I wanted to spend. If your cash limit is higher, then you can get a better mobo or graphics card.
